The Main Character Story is an independent singing competition and brand. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any television talent show, record label or social network unless we clearly say so on this site.

Registering, paying the audition fee or submitting a video does not guarantee selection, a live stage, fame, a recording deal, employment or any prize. Outcomes depend on auditions, jury evaluation, programme format and factors we cannot control.

Statements on the site about becoming a “main character” are creative marketing, not a promise of results.

Jury members, clips and photographs are presented in good faith. Guest line-ups, dates and formats may change. Embedded or linked videos (including YouTube and Google Drive) are provided by those platforms; playback depends on their availability and your connection.

We aim to keep fees, dates, categories and contact details accurate. Information may be updated without notice. If something on the site conflicts with a later official communication we send you, the later communication applies for that season.

The site is provided “as is”. We do not warrant uninterrupted access, error-free pages or that the site will meet every expectation.

Payments may be processed by Razorpay. Files may be stored with Cloudinary. Links may open Instagram, YouTube, Google Drive or other sites. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content, downtime or how they handle data you share with them.

If a later round involves travel or a live performance, you (or a guardian) are responsible for fitness to perform, travel, accommodation and any permissions required. We are not liable for injury, illness or travel disruption except where Indian law does not allow us to exclude that liability.
